For the past two weeks I've gotten five whiteheads around the same area. One will pop out, then after that one goes away, the next day a new one comes up. I wash my face with salicylic cleanser, use toner, and put a topical ointment on it. What is causing this problem? Its so embarassing!

Stop popping them. It spreads the nasty bacteria and can cause more. let the nasty things work their course.

What area is it?
If it's your chin, are you resting your hand on your chin a lot? This will cause it to break out.
If it's your forehead or around your hairline, then it's being caused by the hair products you use.
