I happened upon this website yesterday. And yes, it looks like there is a class action suit, as well as, individuals filing suit against the companies.

Before you go jumping on a class action bandwagon you need to educate yourself about class action lawsuits. http://biyts.info has a pretty good definition and some solid examples of the bigger cases. If there will be a class action, the company will be punished and you will probably get $6. I was screwed by At&t out of $110, the lawyers got $30 million and the plaintiffs (us) got an $8 phone card. If you have real case get your own lawyer or fight them yourself.

From what I read it stated that NO class action law suits have been filed as of yet. There have been suits filed but by individual owner.
Also If you feel your pet has been effected by the tainted food you are advised to contact your state local FDA office and report it to them.

They said there is no case , but here in Ohio someone filed a 50 million law suit. I really don't think anything will come from it. They said that you can only get money for what you paid for the animal. It is so sad people had to lose their pets. This is something that should have never happened.

I heard on the news today that the 1st one had been filed. Can't remember if it was dog or cat food. They were filing because the company had issues about the ingredients before the pets starting dying.
