Thank you for reminding me I live in a bubble. I am always shocked and amazed that people are still denying this is happening.

Whether or not you like Al Gore has nothing to do with GW. The science is out there and we are facing a serious problem. Americans are behind the rest of the world on realizing the truth because we don't want to have to give up our cushy lifestyle.

Making a few easy changes is going to make a healthier world for you, me, and our children.

Every breath a person takes has some effect on the universe not matter how small.
I have no doubt that mankind has an effect on our environment, as we always have. The sum total of our effect is growing.
On the other hand, it is difficult to see through the smoke & mirrors of the agenda driven exaggeration on one hand and the trite denials on the other.
It has created a stir that is emotionally driven not based on any more logic and perspective than it was when it was previously ignored.
people, Americans in particular have a very narrow and short sense of history. Every little weather event is blamed on GLOBAL WARMING.
It is a topic way too important to be left in the hands of Al Gore.

Global warming is way over hyped. It is a problem, but not so much that it will end civilization or anything like that. And dry rivers have more to do with land use patterns that change runoff and people pumping too much water out of the river than with the weather.

Global warming is real.. and it's been happening for millions of years, broken up by equally as many cycles of global cooling.

It is NOT caused by human actions, but rather by that huge glowing ball in the sky we sometimes refer to as THE SUN.

The problem is we have all these sheep who heard somebody scream "the sky is falling" and they never bothered to think for themselves.

The science that people like Al Gore use to scare you.. is bogus. It doesn't add up.

There might be something to it, but inspite of Al Gore and the loonies, I think there are still a lot of unanswered questions. It is very hard to get good information. Everyone seems to have an agenda.

first of all, i'd like to say to the general populus of the world that global warming is a real thing and that they need to take it seriously. yeah, it's talked up and a lot of stuff the big wigs say about it isn't true but something needs to be done about it because it's changing the climates everywhere in the world and shifting the habitats of animals and plants. not all of it is human's fault but we're a big contributor and i think we need to do something to reduce our greenhouse gas emmissions but even if we quit all pollution right this very second, we'd feel the effects as far a 20 years down the road. something needs to be done before all the polar ice caps melt and cover all the land and completely change the face of the earth.

I think that global warming is mainly our fault. We can help stop global warming but it isnt going to suddenly go away. Global warming is really messing up our world one week it is cold and one week it is hot.
