my thought is either largemouth bass or hybrid bass

my thought is largemouth because largemouth can blend into the color of structure that they live in. Basically they camaflouge themselves. So it is probably a largemouth, although i do see your point about the hybrid, it looks like a hybrid kinda too

I think its a largemouth ,the markings may not seem to be ''tradional bass markings" but he probably altered his color to match the rock pile /wood etc he was living on.

I'm leaning towards Kentucky Bass caught in deep water which tends to fade out the coloration.

It is a large mouth bass. I just has the right specs that a large mouth has. I just don't think it is a small mouth bass. Can't tell a alot from the pic.

Where did you catch this? It looks like a largemouth pulled out of cold water. They turn white when like that when they get cold.

That looks like a Spotted Bass.Note no darker lateral line of the Large Mouth, or the bronze color or the Small Mouth.

extremely savour the style of Pickerel/Walleye.
