This cute boy used to like my best friend and she used to like him for a month then moved on. Now, were in High school and he is in like every single one of my classes. We started to like each other and now he wants to go out with (me). Im afraid to tell my best freind because she is the jealous type. If I told her i liked him she would push her self right back in the game and try to destroy our relationship. I dont want him to start liking someone again that is just there to stop me from getting with her used-to-be-crush. Did I do something wrong for going with her crush? I mean its not like they went out or something.

There is nothing wrong with liking someone's old crush because first of all..just because someone likes a guy or girl doesn't mean that he/she belongs to that person. That person has a choice who he or she belongs to. Also, if your friend has a problem, she needs to get a grip and move on. It was JUST a crush.

"Friends are forever, guys are whatever."

Sit down and have a talk with your friend first! Make sure both of you get all of your feelings out on the table. You need to be completely honest with her. Keep your voice calm, don't exaggerate, don't bring up past fights. I really hope this situation works out!

Dont tell her, go out with him for a while and when its serious then tell her when it doesn't matter anymore. She can't be a very good friend if she get jealous over your b/f's. Enjoy Take care Heather

you stated that she moved on - then she has no ties

it is best to hear it from you than someone else

if she is a real friend, she will be happy for you

maybe you guys can double date and all stay good friends

If you like him, go oout with him. Tell her he asked you out and you're going. It's not like they had a serious relationship. If she causes you trouble, then she's not your friend. If they were going to be together, then they would have been.
