Bound's hubby here:
In speaking with a Browning representative this fall, I was told that the future of the Model 94 is uncertain. The 94 was not in the Browning licensing agreement for continued production. However, Browning is working to try to get the rights from US Repeating Arms Company to continue manufacture of the 94. But it was suggested that we don't hold our breath waiting.
Good luck.

When and IF it is produced again, it will be made in Japan, like many Winchesters have been for years. But that doesn't really make a difference, Winchester hasn't made a decent one in 40 years, they've just been running off their name brand.
Marlin has always made a better lever action, and they have been improving the design for longer range. Check out the new .308 MXLR.

Winchester .30-30? You mean the model 1894? Yeah, someone will clone it. Rossi made an 1892 copy that was pretty good and Marlin has always made the 336, a better copy of the Winchester 1892/1894. Of course, Winchester has closed its doors and unless they re-open or someone buys the 'name,' that's it.

They may be made again, but will likely be made in Japan (who make really nice rifles) however, it's unlikley we will ever see an American made Win 94 again)
Right now is a REALLY good time to buy a PRE-1964 Winchester Model 1894..any caliber....they are only going to go up in Value...I picked up a 1952 model in good shape for about 700.00....

Winchester closed the factory that made them. They may make a special run of them later on, but you'll likely end up buying a Marlin instead.

They wont. Wichester quit makin them a while ago. Winchester recently quit making guns all together. You can find one maybe on a local website, try gunbrokers.com if you are looking for one. Its an auction site.

I suspect somebody will buy the rights to the name and rifle.
I just wonder which country it will be coming from.
