That shows its not divine. And created by bunch of high leveled ppl, who wanted to do things for their personal ego-boosting.

It relates to the cast system. The reality is there a many casts although Hindu propaganda says there are only 4.
It turns out there are thousands. Consider this ranking being part of society. Each level wants something tangible taken from the other. Politeness, or something, anything. Now people also want to feel this rank in their space around them. So things get pretty thin toward the bottom. The rural poverty income rate in India is $24USD a month. This is how it started, you have someone that nothing can be taken from except their life. What do you do?

I could never get that, but I think it has something to do with the person's actions in a past life. To be born in a low caste means you did something pretty bad, apparently.
I really don't think people over there get how silly the caste system makes them look to most other people. It's really something that ought to be left in India, as it doesn't promote equality among all people.

They believe that the untouchables have been the worst of people in previous lives. So therefore, the untouchables are unworthy of being touched. They must live their lives well to move back up into a higher caste in the next life. They keep working until they reach the state of Nirvana. (I think that's what it's called)

It was, but not now.
And it is not in Hinduism but in its culture. There is difference.
Caste system was invented in BCE to organise society and prosper. However it later became a disease for society, when in and around 10CE higher caste( who waged wars) began to mistreat lower caste (like scavengers)
Ironically India was very rich in first 8 centuries on CE and every one and even women has equal freedom in every aspect, until muslims invaded india.
