Believe it or not, a lot of bottled water companies use ordinary tap water from relatively "clean" tap water. There are more reputable companies who use "natural spring water" from the areas they lay claim to having drawn it from.

Ummm.... inside the bottle?

It usually helps if you take the cap off first. I mean, if you're trying to get the water out of the bottle. Or really in the bottle in the first place. You can pretty much leave the cap on if you just want to look at the water. Unless the bottle's like, blue. Or has a really big label.

A bottled water factory of course!

Where do they get it? Ha ha, you'd be surprised at where so called mountain spring water comes from. Ever see any water trucks up at a mountain stream filling up? No, me neither.

A well known "bottled water" company in Australia got busted for selling people tap water as "pure mountain Spring water".

Don't believe everything you read on the labels. Unless they have a factory on top of this "spring" don't be surprised if it is not just filtered water.

The bottled water store. Some water used is actually several times filtered water from a public source. Others are from natural springs, mass production bottled then sold to stores for resale.

They turn the fauset on (just like you do in your home) and fill the bottles. The only difference is the water they use goes though more filters than your normal water does. And all water tastes better cold and since most bottled water you drink is refrigerated it will naturally taste better.
