several brands leave a residue on your hair and this can build up and reduce the health of your hair. it always makes it more difficult to colour you hair aswell, because the dye cant absorb aswell. pantene products do apparently leave a a thicker residue and alot of salons refuse to colour your hair if you have used this product. if you cant afford to buy salon quality products, i suggest changing the brand of your shampoo and conditioner every few months. this way your hair gets some variety and it will benefit from not having the same product on it all the time.

Just a little bit. I used it for about three or four months and I loved it. It smelt good and it made my hair soft. It did leave a little bit of a waxy feeling after I was more than 3/4 through the bottle. If you have fine & thin hair, use the Full & Thick shampoo and coniditioner. If you use a regular clarifying shampoo every once and a while, your hair shouldn't feel waxy.

My mom has very thin hair and uses their fine hair products - she likes them. She always says it leaves her hair really soft. I've also used Pantene for years and never experienced (or even heard of) any waxy film on one's hair.

Yes it does, as do several other products. But Pantene is particularly bad. A good idea is to change products every once and a while.
Bed Head products work really well.

if you read the ingredients on the pantene ..... it will say that it contains carbona.....ever heard of carbona wax....for cars. Pantene is great for ppl who have very dry hair it will help tame it....but for fine hair like yours....I would suggest using products for fine hair, this way it will not weight it down as bad as pantene will.

Pantene is so bad for your hair! It completely ruins it! It doesn't clean your hair very well and leaves build-up (sort of like plaque on your teeth) on your hair. Gross!

if you have a salon brand you like and can't afford the salon prices go to ebay and buy the economic liter and gallon jugs.
