I just bought a Leica FED-3 and yes, I have read the manual that's online. My problem is that I can't seem to adjust the rangefinder so that it alings with the actual image. I've moved the focus lens to both sides but the rangefinder doesn't seem to budge. Should i buy a new lens or what should i do?

The disparity between what you are seeing in the viewfinder and what the camera lens is actually focused on is just one of the characteristics of a rangefinder camera that you have to get used to. If you are not familiar with the functioning of a rangefinder look it up on wikipedia because the lens has nothing to do with why you cant focus through the rangefinder. It sounds to me that you haven't even exposed or developed any film with the camera, so before you say that there is a huge issue with the alignment maybe you should try to expose and develop a roll. Afterwards if there is an issue go to this website and learn how to adjust the rangefinder http://jay.fedka.com/index_files/Page422.htm
