i have a question about intianting the i like you part of dating. i have trouble saying because of the fear that they don't feel the same way. many people i ask on yahoo answers say oh go for it, it won't kill you. but in my mind i think it does , since i only know this girl for 4 months, and i do like no doubt about it but i have a urge to say the i like you but don't know what the response will be. so my question to all you yahoo bloggers is that what signals do i look for a girl that she likes me too like signals and what should i do if the signals do come and actually say the i like you part and would you be my gf part. i need signs in a girl thats shes interested in me like i am interested in her. thanxs i hopin for alot of comments

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to tell if a girl likes you... Even IF you managed to get all of the right signals from her, it can still be very likely that she does not feel the same way.
I hate to say this, but the only way you can if a girl likes you is by: 1) asking, or 2) telling her that you like her - and expecting the same response from her.

Having said that, let me try to give you some suggestions on how to go about solving this problem:
a) you can use a method a lot of people I know use and simply ask her if she likes you. If she says no, just be like, "Oh! Just making sure.." If she says yes, well, I'm sure you can figure out the rest. LOL.
b) you can ask her out to dinner one day and see how she responds. If she seems shocked (in a bad way), then just say something along the lines of, "I meant as a 'just friends' kind of thing." If she seems open to the idea, just set a time and place and treat it as a date.

The above are just two, of many, ways you can put yourself 'out there'... without actually putting yourself 'out there'.
I'm certain that there are more; as you grow more experienced with the opposite sex, you will also be able to discover some new techniques. Right now, though, those are probably the two simplest and most effective methods that come to mind...

Hope this helps!

My father had only known my mother for four days before he asked her to MARRY him.

They'll have their 50th wedding anniversary this December.

As for asking a girl to be your girlfriend -- that can wait.

Be fast about moving to the point where you're pleasantly talking with, spending time with, and getting to know somebody. But you can be as slow as you like about anything resembling commitment, except to the extent the female pushes you.
