I had this pidinal cyst for like 4 years now..i had 2 surgerys and the last surgery said they took care of it for good... then year went by i just had to keep going back every 2 weeks to check on it so , it was heeling from the outside in so he woudl jsut open it which did not hurt cause its soo num there... but recently it sore its infected and my doc was out on vacation so this other doc filled in he looked at it n said ohh u need another surgery to open it more ..i go what! what im askin is this guy just looked at it my doc atleast opens it so it can heel right. should i have another surgery wit this guy or wait another 4 weeks or sootill my doc comes back i only trust him.... i dunno what to doo.. i mean right now i cant really sit to much my back hurts n its been draining alot . i want my doc buti dnt wanna wait 4 weeks????????? help?????????????/ plus i dont trust this doc for some weird reason....

i'm not a doctor but i have worked in surgery for the past year.
a hole should not heal from the outside in. it should heal from the inside out with granulation tissue filling the hole until a scar forms and it is healed. if the area is infected you unfortunately need to have surgery (a debridement -cleaning out) of the area, have it packed with gauze and then start the healing all over again. if you don't trust that doc, go for a second opinion, but i think the first doc is the one you should be suspicious of.

By the sounds of it you have a staph infection and I would have it looked at by the physician on duty.
