I am planing to buy a $300 set of some golf clubs. I need to get them custom made which is an additional cost. Does anyone know about how much this will cost?

If you get them custom made to begin with it shouldn't be any extra, if you have to get some and then cut them and bend them it could be another couple hundred.

Where I work we do custom sets all the time. We charge about 150 for a iron fitting which lasts around an hour. You hit several different lengths and lofts to determine those elements of you swing. It also determines what flex shafts you will need. Most of the time this fee is added to the price of the clubs that you would pay at the local sporting goods store. The major difference is that when they come in we make sure that the specs are calibrated to you. Ex mizuno mx25's regular price 799.00 add the 150 and you are set. However if you have serious shaft upgrades it can go a bit higher.

Custom made golf clubs are definitely the way to go. This provides you the best chance of success using those clubs, as they will be made for your swing, your height and other measurements.
Additional considerations toward cost would be shaft material, grip material, head material, name brand versus discount golf clubs, etc.
A discount set of golf clubs, custom made should be around the $300 mark. This would include driver, irons (3-PW), and a putter.
Best of luck!

Depends on the brand of materials.
