my girl got her belly button pierced but she let it close so it can heal cuz they grabbed a ton of skin-(opposite of yours) it was 2 the point that she couldn't move the jewelry 2 clean it, then when it was finally healed, she had it done again. so, yeah u can have it pierced again.

Take it out and let it heal (should take a few months for an 8 month old piercing) you can get it done again in the same place.

Was the piercing done like that or is there less skin holding the ring in now than when it was first done? If there is less skin now than before, it could be rejecting, in which case it's better to take it out now than end up with big scars. If it was just pierced too shallow, then it's up to you (but I would recomend getting it re-done)

I had my belly button pierced, it got infected and i let it close up i was thinking about getting it done again but i chose not to b/c i dont want a worse scar then i already have. So I would think twice before redoing it and if its something you really want to be there for a long time. But i knew someone that belly button got infected and she got hers redone but she said it didnt hurt. So good luck

U can get it pierced in the same place. This happened to one of my friends. She had to have hers done 3 TIMES becuz the skin kept disappearing!!! One thing I can tell u though is if ur using or did use peroxide to clean the piercing, that wasn't a good move. Peroxide dries the skin out. U should use the same stuff they give u when u get ur ears pierced. Worked for me. I was 18 when I first got mine done and now I'm 22

If there's barely skin holding your belly ring in its current location then why pierce it in same spot. if you won't it redone take it out completely let it heal for a year! then try again.

Yes you can, though it'll hurt more. It sounds like your body doesn't like surface piercings and will continue to reject them. Keep this in mind because even though the scar tissue may slow down the rejection process, it won't stop it. In the end, you'll probably end up with a lot of scar tissue and a large scar on your navel. Supposedly it hurts a lot during pregnancy when you have a lot of scar tissue build up.

Ya, you could get it pierced again. Usually, you have to let the old one heal first (about 6-8 months I think). In your case they would probably pierce it in another spot with more of a grip... Good luck!

if you are getting done over again, you have to let your belly heal first, i pierced my belly second, because it was infected, i let it heal for 2 yrs, when i got redone again i didnt feel anything, it could different for everyone, depend on the healing period

I certainly have mine pierced 4 circumstances. as quickly as on the genuine, as quickly as on the backside, and one on the two element. i've got had them prepared on 3 or 4 years, and that i haven't had a single concern with any of them. as long as you hold on with the after-care training given to you by ability of your piercer, you will desire to be ok! Mine all took approximately 8 or 9 months to heal thoroughly. (I replaced the jewelry after approximately 6 months, and each little thing went wonderful. It took some better months until eventually i ought to take the jewelry out devoid of the hollow transforming into close.) in case you have the different questions, be at liberty to e mail me! :)
