Yes, and there are several. Some diets call them free foods.
Dill Pickles, Celery, raw Cauliflower, raw green peppers, raw Broccoli, steamed mushrooms, steamed Asparagus, steamed Cabbage, any food from the cabbage family either steamed or raw. These are also known as anti-carcinogenic.
The reason these foods are considered free foods is because it requires more energy for the body to break them down than they produce in the first place. Many of them have very good vitamin and mineral content. I am not sure but I think steamed spinach is also one of them.
You don't have to eat them bland either. Add a little pure lemon juice, or a dash of vinegar, or some pepper, cayenne pepper, curry, paprika, a little dry mustard or garlic powder.

Celery is one. Here are some foods that are very low in calories: Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Beans runner boiled. Fruit and vegetables are still the most effective and nutritious low-calorie foods. Eat a minimum of 5 servings a day.

There are tons of foods that don't make you gain weight. But the catch is, you have to figure out what foods your body reacts to in a positive fashion. IE. you feel good after eating.

Junkfood is not on that list. Sorry.

Anything that has calories will make you gain weight, anything. Just don't eat a lot of it. Yeah, but if it has calories, then weight gain will come (not necessarily a lot though, probably not even 1/4 of a pound if it something like lettuce, peanuts, etc.)

cottonballs,styrofome...sorry just being silly.

all foods contain calories...the problem isn't the calories...its the calories that remain in the body..the calories that aren't used during the day and are stored as fat.

so if your not running/lifting heavy weights..your body probably doesn't need 10 billion calories or a mcdonald's happy meal.

your body needs certain elements to function properly...including levels of fat...basically fat lubericates your system..allows you to use the ladies room.

look up the glycemic scale online...it list foods according to how long the body takes to digest them...how long they remain in your system and thusly have a better chance of being stored as fat..
things like meat/fish/greens are on the low end...breads are like in the middle and potatoes/carrots are on the high end of the scale..
I'm not saying that one should pull an atkins and eat just protein...eat foods lower on the scale...But also get oils..smaller levels of fat in as well...

yes, and the category is called empty foods, because they also have no nutritional value. check out the label on lettuce, and pickles (cucumbers if you prefer). you'll find they are quite empty, including in taste. but read nutrition labels, there are a lot of foods that are low in calories and fat, but just make sure you stay under 2000 a day, and you'll drop the pounds

Yes! Celery actually has negative calories, because it burns more calories to eat than it contains in the first place. Weird, huh?
