What scriptures are used to back up the position that people should only have sex for procreation?

THESE ARE SOME OF THE TEXTS that strongly indicate that sex should also be for one of the greatest of pleasures that God intended for humans:

(1 Corinthians 7:1-5) 7 Now concerning the things about which YOU wrote, it is well for a man not to touch a woman; 2 yet, because of prevalence of fornication, let each man have his own wife and each woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to [his] wife her due; but let the wife also do likewise to [her] husband. 4 The wife does not exercise authority over her own body, but her husband does; likewise, also, the husband does not exercise authority over his own body, but his wife does. 5 Do not be depriving each other [of it], except by mutual consent for an appointed time, that YOU may devote time to prayer and may come together again, that Satan may not keep tempting YOU for YOUR lack of self-regulation."

--IF YOU NOTED when a wife wants her husband and visa versa FOR PLEASURE SAKE they should give in to the desire of their mate and fulfill that desire as a wonderful high!--NO CHILDREN as the object of sex is mentioned!

PLEASE NOTE that even in Solomons time the explicit enjoyment that a husband or wife can have in their sexual enjoyment(no mention of children procreated by the sexual encounter) with ones marriad spouse , BUT there is a serious warning of given ones sexual power to satisfy a other than your marriage mate!---

(Proverbs 5:15-22) 15 Drink water out of your own cistern,(have sex with your marriage partner--my comment) and tricklings out of the midst of your own well(ONE "fountain" for each married person--my comment) 16 Should your springs be scattered out of doors, [your] streams of water in the public squares themselves? 17 Let them prove to be for you alone, and not for strangers with you. 18 Let your water source prove to be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth, 19 a lovable hind and a charming mountain goat. Let her own breasts intoxicate(or the sexual areas that are of arousal to a woman--my comment) you at all times. With her love may you be in an ecstasy constantly. 20 So why should you, my son, be in an ecstasy with a strange woman or embrace the bosom of a foreign woman? 21 For the ways of man are in front of the eyes of Jehovah, and he is contemplating all his tracks. 22 His own errors will catch the wicked one, and in the ropes of his own sin he will be taken hold of."

--There are examples in the Bible where both married mates are indeed to enjoy themselves in pleasures that each mate feels are acceptable, BUT even in marriage IF EITHER MATE find a certain act offensive then the other mate should respect their feelings!

--There are those who distort the texts, that use the idea of only for procreation---ARE usually directed by religions that have had perverted ideas EVEN preventing individuals from marrying----TO SUIT the ideas of men who allow themselves to be controlled by supranatural forces:

I wasent aware of any scriptures that supported that. I believe GOD created sex between a married man and woman to be pleasurable as well as for procreation.

There are none. The Bible doesn't say that at all. It says completely the opposite. The Song of Solomon is a whole book in the Bible that deals with sex. God created sex to be a wonderful and amazing thing - something for us to enjoy. But the thing to remember here is that sex is meant for two people who are joined in marriage, not for those out of wedlock. In marriage, sex is a wonderful, pleasure-filled thing for us to enjoy!

Because there are no statements in the Bible mentioning to use sex for merely pleasure!
Even the animals will not employ sex for merely pleasure.
It is the result of Satan's action deceit on human being to use sex out of God's plan.
Learn from the animal kingdom, it is an open Bible for those who can read it.

Trust me, animals have intercourse for amusing. They get delight out of it too. You wish to understand why intercourse earlier than marriage is a sin in keeping with so much religions? It truthfully has not anything to do with intercourse, it has the whole thing to do with MONEY. Virgin brides had been what guys desired. Why?
