I have wallpaper that I need off the walls, and ive got most of it off. However, there is a few spots that will not come off. I heard somewhere that fabric softner will work? I'm going to try that.
What else works?

You can use warm water and a putty knife. Take a sponge with warm water, keep the sponge fairly damp and rub all over the area with trhe wall paper. Let it set for about 1 minute, the attempt to lightly scrape with the putty knife. Re apply water as needed, also change the water often as the glue will accumulate in the water and leave streaks on the wall that paint wont cover. good luck

Believe it or not, blue windshield washer liquid works great at removing wallpaper glue... No kidding! Spray the spots down with this or use a soaked rag. Get the spots really wet... and then scrape it off easily! And it's definitely the most inexpensive and cleanest way to do it, as fabric softener is messy and hard to clean up after.

You can dampen the area and heat it up with a hair dryer if it is a small area then use a putty knife to scrap it off.
You can also steam it off if you have a common steam iron, and once again scrap it off.
You can use a cloth with hot water in it, rub it onto the area to loosen the glue, then scrap.
Any of these methods will work but all steps may have to be repeated depending on age and type of wallpaper. Also score the area to allow the steam or water penatrate.

Hmm, just as I hit the answer button I saw the comment of no time. I was gonna suggest going and getting a wall scratcher and some Dif wallpaper remover. The time you'll save using those two items will save you on the removal process. Good luck and try not to gouge the wall too much.
