I have ordered one. I know a guy who admits he drives "hard" and says he gets 28 around town and 38 highway. He loves it. I was so impressed after test driving one with a relative I ordered one (ABS is hard to find). I've heard most people are getting low 30s in mixed driving. But the car feels so big it seems like a steal.

A CVT is extremely like an computerized. there is not any grab. instead of having 3,4,or 5 gears - that is have been given a belt that strikes up or down between 2 pulleys. once you commence off from a end the belt is located on the super element of the pulley pushed by ability of the engine and the small element of the pulley which drives the wheels. As you benefit velocity the belt strikes around the pulley. this will supply you a gentle non-end transition from ability to velocity. It provides greater advantageous gas mileage and you will no longer experience those small lurches that maximum autos have once you pass from one kit to the subsequent. I certainly have a Saturn Vue with this style of transmission. in basic terms concern is that it incredibly is a sprint noisier than a classic computerized. maximum are no longer extremely as rugged as a favourite computerized transmission.
