Hey! Now when you mean black do you mean black black or greyish? There is a cream called MaMa Lotion which seems to be getting great reviews. Or you can Exfoliate every day - loofah and a good body scrub or polish. You wont notice IMMEDIATE results, but you WILL see results significantly after about 1-2 weeks of doing this every day! ORRRRR cut a lemon or line in half and rub it on your knees /elbows for twenty minutes then rub off. This is NORMAL though so I think you should just accept it.

Use an exfoliant to remove dead skin at least three times a week for the next 2 1/2 weeks. Do not over do the scrubbing or over exfoliate more often then I recommended you could injury the skin. Also apply a thick moisturizer or sheabutter, every day and night every day even after exfoliating. This should help.

I wasn't aware that a person's knees could be so much darker than the rest of their skin.....are you over sensitive about your skin tone on your knees? I'd check with a dermatologist and talk to family members and see if your perception of yourself is slightly skewed. If you can accept yourself, then don't care what other people say if they happen to comment on your dark knees.....

Yes, go to a dermatologist and put plenty of body lotion on them every day. Make sure it's really good lotion like Vaseline.
