he is really shy and reserved and i havent been able to work his feelings out for me...if he even has any.
what signs will he give me to let me know that he is keen towards myself also?

Just try and give him the goodies like you will the next twelve morons you'll run into. Don't think about your future and just keep cruisin through life. You seem to be a very happy and fulfilled individual.

Body language is key in telling whether or not he wants you. There are little things, like if he touches his hair and face in an attempt to groom himself or comes up with excuses to touch you. If he gets close to you, then yes he likes you and if he does nervous things like rub his hands together or avoid eye contact, then that may mean he's thinking lusty thoughts.
The big thing is if he does the traditional human male mating stance with his body turned towards you, legs spread with his hands on his hips or in his pockets (in an attempt to make you look at his package). Or sitting down, he has his legs spread and hands on his upper thighs in order to bring attention to that area.

Just give him some time to figure it out..hang out and be friends first for a while. If you don't know what kind of signs he'll give you maybe you need to get to know him a little better.

Just be honest and tell him how you feel and ask him just to tell you the truth maybe he's just shy or take him around your friends if he opens up he likes you if he doesn't leave him alone.

If he is like I was you can't be subtle, really. Go up and ask him out and take the lead. See if he gives you the reins and if he does take him.
