I've purchased 3 jeeps using autotrader.com, but be careful to check each vehicle carefully and know exactly what you're looking for! Do you want an older carburetor jeep (pre 91') or more modern fuel injected with coil springs?
Make a list of your preferences and then search for the jeep that fits those needs. If you rush in and buy the first GOOD DEAL, you might get a lemon, or a rust bucket. You "should" be able to find a great deal on great jeep for $5,000 - $10,000 depending on upgrades.

I have two jeeps, wouldnt sell them however. Check autotrader, just be persistent and willing to travel a little ways, and you will find one that suits your desire.
