Neutering helps but does not stop the spraying when the cat is an adult. He will still spray in the same areas he has sprayed before.
Get some of the Urine Begone or other enzyme based products and spray every area you can find that he has sprayed. Continue to spray a couple of times to completely neutralize the scent.
Limit his area after you have him neutered til he uses the litterbox regularly (use clumping litter clean twice daily).
Good luck!!!

He probably has a UTI. You need to get him off all hard food and switch to a healthy soft food. the prices are very comparable and you will be so so so happy with the results!! Check out these sites for a store near you and the peeing will stop almost immediatly www/natura.com and www.canidae.com. You need to make sure the litter box is kept clean and that you feed meals and don't have food out all day as well! Good Luck

When a cat starts peeing all over the house he might have a bladder infection. Take him to the vet. They will give him antibiotics if he has an infection.

It's a HIM? Male cats tend to spray everywhere until you have them "fixed"... My sister's had their male neutered and he ended this behavior.
Good luck! Peace.

As other people have said, you need to get him neutered if he isn't. It may also be a bladder infection.

If your taste is that snob, I applaud the cat. Might bring you down a social notch. Might be telling you something. Then again, you might not be a cat person. Ever had a cat before? Has he been neutered? Duh. Toodles.
