there is ths boy i have liked since grade school, and he is usually really mean around me, in a playful way. he is kind of overprotective of me, like he'll be mad if someone hits me like his little brother. he teases me alot. we usually get along, but in a weird sort of way. and no, i cant ask him out. im really shy, and i cant say 'i like u' or 'i love u' to someone, and im gonna move in a couple of days, and i want to tell him before i leave. please help me!

you are the same as me but I told him and he was cool with it and a few days later he asked me if we could go out ... and now 20 years later we have 3 kids and he's a lazy bum SO DON'T ASK HIM OUT!!!

Maybe get a friend to suss him out or leave him a letter saying how you feel and how to contact you again (as a friend or as something more - that way in time he may change his mind and may not have realised what an awesome girl you are!!) if he chooses to that way the ball is in his court he can act on it or not - that way you're both in different towns and will surely move on!!
