Does anyone know a phone number one can call to ask question s at the British Consulate, other than the $2.49 a minute outsourced service? There are questions on the C1 form I don't know how to answer since I was born in Jamaica. I have a valid British passport to submit but the photo is destroyed by dry cleaners. Maybe the questions about my foreign birth are irrelevant. I believe my birth was registered at the Home Office, London soon after I was born.
