He doesn't seem to be in pain but he can't jump on to the couch and when he starts to walk it seems to give out and he falls.

yes its a problem!! go to the vet now...it could be anything from a broken leg to a pinched nerve to spinal damage or worse cancer but whatever it is it needs to be seen right away...do not wait and go to an emergency clinic if your vet is not open...good luck and I hope it is minor but it is nothing to be messed with.....let us know how it goes...smile thinking happy thoughts for you..

Well, my dog did the same. I took her to a vet and they said she had a bad back. My vet said if not treated she could Eventually be paralyzed.
You should see a vet.

I really think you should take him to the vet ASAP. I know everyone is saying that but it could be kidney failure or cancer, or mabe he/she just dislocated it! I REALLY feel for you and hope she/he get better. Good luck!

TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET!!!
You are putting your dogs health at risk to millions of people you don't know! Take your dog to a vet who has gone to school for this very kind of thing!

you dog most likely has either broken its leg or had dislocated it. It might not seem to be in pain but it very well could be.

bad knee, or hip, or something. but if he's dragging it he needs to see the vet soon. you don't give much info.
