where did you come up with the word "cult" as it pertains to what the mormons were asking you? I'm sure they didn't use that word.

I second (or is that third?) what some people have said. Pray about it and decide for yourself what you should do. God won't leave you wondering as long as you believe you will get an answer.
If you think that us "mormons" are a cult, then you haven't studied us very much, or only believe what you have heard about us. Sounds like you have heard all bad stuff, and probably nothing true, or maybe only partially true. How hard would it be to learn something right from someone who believes and lives their religion? If you really think we are cult, then by definition, so are ALL other christian churches. Read the definition if you don't believe me.

Why don't you pray about it with real intent?
Follow your mind and heart. Take your time study it out. Ask your Heavenly Father to Show you and help you recognize if one is His truth. Peace, love and comfort burning in your heart(the Holy Spirit) will lead you to the truth. Confusion and a empty feeling means it's not true or it means you're not praying with real intent.
I hope you find out for yourself! For truth!

first of all...people who have different faiths, arent in cults. second, what do you want to do? dont join other churches because of other people. join them because you believe in the doctrines and the teachings.

Forget about those cults you mentioned, led by human being!
Join Jesus Christ, The Creator by obeying every word of Him, which completely written in the New Testament.
As a matter of fact, Jesus still lives until today and manage His discipleship by His own power and love, not necessarily through earthly systems.
Be blessed!

You must do what you believe GOD wants you to do. Obviously, I am hoping you will read the Book of Mormon and know that it is the word of God, like the Bible, but, if that doesn't happen, you must go where GOD wants you, not where anyone else does.

Stay away from cults. If you are sincerely searching, ask God, with real intent which church you should join. If you're just joshing us, then I don't have any advice for you.

Ask God. He knows what Church you should join. If done sincerely, he will reveal the truth to you. God would know.

Did the mormons leave you with a Book of Mormon. If so, here's a challenge for you. Read it and then ponder the things that you have studied. After pondering those things, ask the Lord if it is true. By the power of the Holy Ghost he will reveal all truth.
Other Scriptures for you:
James 1:5-6
Proverbs 3:5-6
If they didn't leave you a copy and you would like one, send me an email and I will send you one.

I'm ex mormon I left the church . People live the life hidding from who they are . Your like robot
being force to be something your not. If you can't live up to their standards turn against you.
I have alot hurt from the mormon church when my mom and my sisters left the church. Ours extended families were mad . We were longer part of the family. But we still able to say good bye to my grandpa before he died this past year.
He expected Jesus Christ as his savior before he died.as my sister was praying over him.
But as far are family they don't agree with what we do. we can't talk religion without fight its hard.
