The most overrated driver from the past or present is Jamie McMurray. These are the reasons why:
1. He only has one win in the Nextel Cup series and that was in Sterling Marlin's car. Marlin had the most consistent car in 2002 and probably would have won the championship if he had not got injured. Jamie has yet to win in his own cars.
2. McMurray has raced for two quality organizations: Ganassi Racing and Roush Racing. Last year, he took over the car that Kurt Busch won a championship in. Yet, McMurray has no poles and no wins in a company that has produced several cup champions.
3.Jamie can be stubborn with the race car compared to other drivers because he likes to make the calls. This explains why he has gone through many crew chiefs since he went to Roush.
Jamie has one of the highest salaries in NASCAR, but has yet to produce with his own equipment. Equipment I might add that is exceptional (Ganassi and Roush). If he did not have that one win who knows what team he would be on because I don't think Roush would have given him all that money in good conscience.

Juan Pablo Montoya. Just like Notre Dame, he hasn't done anything before the year starts and everybody is bragging on him. Not to mention he is already a dirty driver. Ask his teammate.

This new Juan Pablo Kid... What has he done to receive so much recognition in the Nascar industry (yeah we all know about his championship past, but who cares)?
Also, Kevin Harvick.. Yeah hes good, but not great, and has too much attitude.
