Out of all three series, Brian Vickers is the youngest Champion. He was 20 when he won the Busch title in 2003.
Out of all three series, Ted Musgrave is the oldest Champion. He was 50 when he won the Truck title in 2005.
Youngest Cup Champion ever was Bill Rexford in 1950, 21 years old. Youngest Cup Champion in the modern era was Jeff Gordon in 1995, 24 years old.
Oldest Cup Champion was Bobby Allison. He was just shy of his 46th birthday when he won it in 1983.
The oldest Busch Champion-Jack Ingram 1985, 49 years
The youngest Truck Champion- Travis Kvapil 2003, 27 years

to the first poster martin has not won a championship yet. jeff gordon is youngest at the age of 24 in 95 and the oldest was bobby allison age 45 in 83. here is something you may not know the person who waited the longest between championships. terry labonte won the championship in 84 and 96. that is twelve years apart.

Bobby Allison was, the oldest and, Johnson, last year, was the youngest, beating out Gordon by, a couple of months.

Jimmie Johnson is 31 years old, so if Gordon won at 24, then he was the youngest.

Bobby Allison, the youngest was Jeff Gordon back in 1995.

I am tempted to say Mark Martin but there were some old timers back in the 50's and 60's that I do not recall.
