Instead of egg, dip them in ranch dressing (not the generic stuff, it tastes like paste); the real ranch dressing with the green top.
Sprinkle with your favorite breadcrumb and fry as normal.

Here is the recipe for the crispy strips I served in my restaurant, and we couldn't make them fast enough.
Chicken Strips
1. First make a coating mix of 2/3 flour and 1/3 crushed saltine crackers (you can also use the kind without salt). The amount you make depends on how many chicken strips you're cooking.
2. Slice the boned, skinned, chicken breasts into strips and place on a platter or plate. How many you cut up is according to how many you need.
3. Beat one egg in a shallow bowl, and set aside. If you find you need more, simply beat another one.
4. In another shallow dish, place enough all purpose flour to coat the strips.
5. In a large frying pan, add enough oil for frying.
When the oil is hot enough, dredge each strip in the plain flour, then in the beaten egg, then in the breading mix, then add to the hot oil.
Cook for 2 minutes on each side...only until lightly browned. Over cooking will cause them to be tough and they won't taste nearly as good.
The reason for coating the strips in plain flour first is so the beaten egg will stick to them.
Repeat with each strip until all are cooked. Drain them on paper towels as they finish cooking.
Delicious!!

This is the best recipe for chicken strips ever .. I make this in large batches twice a month and freeze them. My kids take them for lunch in wraps, my husband and I put them on our salad and it's soooooo easy.
Chicken strips
Seasoning salt (like McCormics)
Melted butter
Finely crushed corn flakes
Season the strips with the seasoning salt, dip them in melted butter then roll in the cornflakes. Bake the strips at 375 until golden and crunchy (about 30 minutes).
These are really super easy and super yummy .. I got the recipe from Gourmet a few years ago when they did a section on children's birthday parties.

In a bowl, mix 1 cup flour, 1 cup corn meal and 1/2 tsp salt. In another bowl, beat 2 eggs. Dip the chicken in the egg, then into the dry mixture. If you like it extra crispy, repeat process. Place in heated skillet with oil. Yum Yum
