Are there any holidays or events coming up around March 31 and April 3?

I noticed on Jetblue that flights to Ft. Lauderdale are super expensive. They usually raise their fares whever there is a holiday or event going on in Florida..and even in the Caribbean (because a lot of people fly to Florida, then take another airline to their final destination in the Caribbean because it can be cheaper that way.)

Some schools have that week off for spring break. The first night of Passover is April 2nd & lots of families will travel for the Seder meal on the first two nights. Easter is April 8th.

The reason the fares are so high is because Fort Lauderdale is a huge spring break destination. This is the time for many spring breaks, in fact I'll be going on vacation to New Orleans because my kids are out of school at that time.

Well, I don't know anything about that, but my brother and I are flying from Toronto on the 30th of this month to Barbados on Air Canada, and we return April 25th also on Air Canada back to Toronto from Barbados. Both are non-stops.
