would a Chihuahua and american bull dog be good together

depends on how they were raised.... two female dogs will fight same for males.... male and a female you better get them fixed

I don't think so. If the Chihuahua was in the home first it may look at the bull dog as an intruder.
I say this because we have a long haired Chihuahua and we had a Rottweiler. Our Chihuahua, Toto, attacked our Rottweiler everytime he could get near her. He chewed her lips and whatever else he could reach. She would let him too!
Our Chihuahua thinks he allows us to live in HIS house. But I wouldn't trade him for anything. He's the best heater on a cold winter nite!!!

To be honest I wouldn't do it personally. IF you decide to, please make sure they are seperated during any time you can't be with them. One of the most common injuries vets see is a bite from a big dog to a little dog within the same household. Sometimes (even after years) something happens and the big dog may hurt or kill the small one. A lady I know had some large dogs and a small one. A fight broke out when no one was home. A couple of the big dogs were injured but the little dog was dead. If you keep these two breeds together, please kennel them seperately when you aren't home for safety.

I had a Chihuahua and a Pit Bull. The Pit loved the Chihuahua. If anything happened to Pee Wee, Bud would perk up and check out Pee Wee immediately. Bud loved Pee Wee. Pee Wee was full grown when Bud was a puppy. This may have something to do with it, because Bud looked up to Pee Wee even though he looked down. Ha. Ha. Pee Wee was a girl. Bud a boy. They made a great pair. All other dogs were different and Bud didn't tolerate them.

My american bulldog i owned did really good with other dogs, i had 2 pomeranians, and they played ant stuff, also she was really gentle with children

Probably, but please don't let them make some puppies if they aren't spayed or neutered!
