So many Christians will say it's 'wrong' to hurt others for ones own gain, but then they'll turn right around and be pro death penalty, pro killing in self-defense, and/or claim that war is okay sometimes. As if those things aren't the ultimate 'socially acceptable' occasions of hurting others for ones own gain. Why are not THOSE wrong? They are the ultimate expression of hurting others for ones own gain! There would be no other reason to do those things.

I think u are mistaking, the planet is not going to be forgotten, but rather stands forever only bad people will be destroyed, psalms 37 v 29 & ecc 1v4, for ur question, how do u feel when others gain while u are hurt? when u hurt others to gain when the bad people will be destroyed then u will follow, u will reap whatever u sow.

Yea but think about it long and hard before you hurt someone. When you die you can be remembered as one of two things...

the guy who made all this money, had nice things, but was a total dick.

or, someone who maybe didn't have a lot of luxury but was a nice person and really is missed by everyone.

and even if you say "well what do I care, I'll be dead." well, true but just remember, when your old and cant control your bladder and someone is responsible for putting you in a nursing home, you want to make sure they put you in a good one!

That's the difference between a person with and without ethics and morals. A moral person will do the right thing, because it's the right thing and they don't want to hurt anyone else. Sad that it seems like kids are growing up without any idea of this.

Yes it's wrong, but MANY people don't care. Most Americans that's for sure. I'm one of them, but I'd never disown or hurt another person knowingly for my own gain. That's not right and one of the worst things you can do if you ask me.

Of course it is wrong~! Just because we are all going to die does not mean that you can do people wrong~! Treat others the way you would like to be treated~! Would you like it if people did that to you?~!:)

my, aren't we optimistic?

it's wrong to hurt/harm anyone intentionally or unintentionally. As to whether all will be forgotten, that's your opinion.

Understanding why this is unjust requires grasping the virtue of justice.
