By the way, i'm not sure why i can't talk to her, i just never get a chance to really talk to her in private. I'd just rather not let anyone else at school know yet. What should i do?

Why would she want your phone number if she doesn't ever talk to you?
That's not meant to hurt your feelings, but to point out you've got to make it your mission to get into conversation with her first. I don't mean the 'hanging around on her every word making her feel uncomfortable' approach either.
Plan your attack, so to speak. Engage her with something funny, witty, and fun, and don't drag it out.
One of the worst approaches is to compliment her 'You look Pretty' and then just hang around.
One of the best approaches though is to give her an indirect compliment 'Nice handwriting' and then quickly move on before she has a chance to respond. Snares interest, creates mystery.
Be fun, be a happening guy, and don't be afraid of her (especially don't be afraid to tease her).
Don't give the excuse that there's no time to talk to her, that's bs you're telling yourself. You can make time for it, just don't be afraid to engage, and try to be confident.
Even if you get shot down, that's all part of learning how to connect.

Hmm well just work up the nerve one day after school, so there won't be too many people around since you dont want them to know, and ask her. It's the only way u'll know for sure if she's interested.

Wow I had the same problem. The best thing to do is to find out if one of her friends knows one of your friends. Then tell you friend to tell her friend that you like her. Later, give her letters and if you are lucky she will answer back. It worked for me, good luck!

dont ask for phone number email is better also be the first one to email her dont make her chase after you.you chase after her slip the note in her locker when no one looking if you know shes into you

I know it might be hard to find a way to get her alone to tell her how you feel but if you dont you might loose out on something that might be real special... so my advice would be do your best to get her to yourself... good luck man....
