As the title of a certain book of children's poetry says, "Pobody's Nerfick"
1. If you had to be perfect to be able to go to heaven, *no one* would be able to have a chance to go.
2. The requirement for getting to go to heaven is righteousness, to "be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)
3. Nobody has a chance of going, unless someone else takes care of the requirement for them. After all, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
4. So is no one going? That would be the case, but this is where Jesus comes into the discussion: It's true that "the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) -- Note that this says "wages" and not "punishment" -- At this point in the discussion, nobody's said anything about punishment. After all, who do you get your wages from? A judge? A baliff? No! -- How about an employer? Death is the currency in which you're paid for sinning!
. . . And God would not pay you to sin -- Sinning is doing things God does *not* want you to do, which take you out of His will and His path. So who would? Hmm... Let's think...
5. We needed someone to pay that price -- to collect those wages for us. *That* is what the big deal of Jesus dying for us is all about. He died so we don't have to. He paid for us. He collected our wages, and did away with them.
6. So, in order to get in on this incredible deal, what do we do? Become missionaries? Become celibate priests? No, it's far easier than that: What He (Jesus) said we should do to be included on His ticket is to believe in Him. That also means we will do our best to do things His way, but actually that's not a problem: His way, as it turns out, is the best way possible.
7. So believe in Jesus, (and believe Jesus), and live for Him (which means life will actually be better, since you get amazing benefits like a direct any-time-of-the-day-or-night toll-free line to God to talk about anything and you don't even need a phone, and there's a bunch of other benefits as well, like the fruits of the Spirit, and God's personal Spirit as a personal counsellor, and more besides), and you'll be on your way toward going to live endlessly in heaven.

Of course you have a chance of believing in heaven. What is more important, if you want to go to heaven, believe and follow Jesus Christ. BTW, no one should expect you to be perfect, because no one is perfect.

God doesn't say that we have to be perfect alls we have to do is believe. Believe in his son Jesus Christ that he died for you a sinner (yes sinner we are all sinners in this here world.) Romans 3:23 say that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But it also says in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is dead but the gift (and i emphasize gift because that's what it is there is no work involved...on you part least) but the gift of God is eternal life. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. And then of course the classic verse John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall have etearnal life.
Just think of that God gave his sons life for you and I. I am not a crazy goody tooshoe christian but I beieve in the bible and the purity of God so I hope that this was helpful. And whoever tells you that you can earn your way to heaven dont believe them.

What has perfect got to do with it? we are all sinners! we don't get saved because we are good, we get saved by the grace of God. Our part is to exercise the faith to believe that Christ died for our sins. He tells us "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" we all need the Savior. Your faith will increase as you read His word. I would suggest you take a look at the book of John in the New Testament. Want any help email me.
