I think that they all don't really go together! I think that cream teak and a real light yellow that is alnost white would look good! But i haven't seen those so it may look good!! Good luck~!

While I do think that a person should decorate their house to meet their own likes, I have to say that I think more than 2 colors on walls would be to much. If they were very similar and all blended together it would be ok but these are very different colors.
I would go with the Red and Teak myself - they'll make a serious statement and bring personality to the space without being to much all over the place.

It wouldn't look right, that's for sure.. If it's 3 walls, I wouldn't do more than 1 color, unless it's a pattern like...
Cream Teak Cream.
Don't mix exotic colors with calm colors, though.
Cream and Teak would be good together, as long as the Teak isn't too yellow (try mixing in some cream?).
I would just leave the red out, unless it's more a luxurious romantic room, such as red candles, rose petals around .. etc. Dark red is more for a romantic type room than a living room.
I hope this helps!

For wall colours - Two colours is enough - one as an accent and the other as a background colour.
I'd say that the cream + teak or cream + dark red would look nice, but not all three together.

It could look good. But one thing to keep in mind when decorating is that for complete harmony in a room, you need to have 3 colors: one dominant color (the walls) one medium color (the trim & moulding) and one accent color (decorative objects)
What you might find is that with 3 different paint colors, the room will have a very hectic and busy feel to it. Most likely, it will be hard to rest in that room, especially using such a vibrant color as red. Using 3 colors will also make your room seem smaller.
Here's what I suggest: Use the dark red on the wall, use the cream for the trim and use the teaky mustard color as the accent color (cushions, curtains, vases, rug, etc.)

I think the three colors are too much, i would suggest using one of the colors as an accent stipe say as a faux chair rail so you can then tie it in with pillows/accents/accessories. I would do the red with one of the other colors only. If you need to see what it would look like go to hgtv and click on paint my room, it is interactive and you can change the colors to actually see what you like and don't like. And it will save a lot of money and time. I do believe lowes and home depot offer the same interactive program as well as BHG.
Good luck and have fun with your mum on the websites! Try them all to see which site u like best!

I think the you should keep the dark red and teak maybe but not the cream. It would look random. Try a brown That'll look good.

Go to lowe's.com. Get on the virtual painter & paint a room those colors to show her how awful it would look. Then help her use it to find a nice color to paint the room. They have hundreds of colors to choose from.

If she likes those colors, perhaps she could choose 1 as a primary wall color, and use the other two as trim colors: even if she has to had paint the trim on herself (if the room has no trim).
