It's not good for us to eat McDonald's every day of our lives for every meal. So, we don't. If you're out of food and don't get paid until tomorrow, saltines are better for your bird than not giving them anything at all.
It's not the healthiest thing in the world, but they like them and they're yummy. Try to scrape as much salt of as you can, but yeah. Go for it.

Probably best if you get the crackers without salt, but yes, as a ''treat'', they can eat the occasional saltine cracker.
