My partner booked a weekend away in New York for my xmas present for St. Patricks weekend. He secretly booked a limo to pick us up from the airport. In the limo, driving through the snow in New York he got down on one knee and proposed!! What is your ideal proposement??

I rate this 1000! My hubby and I have been together for 9 years (since we were 15) and we always knew we were going to get married. His proposal wasn't quite as planned out, but it was kind of funny. We were on a trip and at the hotel I went to take a bath and when I walked out of the bathroom he was on one knee outside of the door and I ran right into him nearly injuring both of us. It isn't the most romantic proposal, but we were very young and he was nervous. I still think it was cute and I love it just the same. Congrats on your engagement and best of luck!

Wow how sweet!.....Well it's definitely a 9 for me. Was there a bunch of very red roses too?

I'm still single, so my concept of a very romantic proposal is for my sweetheart to rent a plane and have the pilot write the sky with "cloud puffs" or something ("will you marry me?") while we have home-cooked lunch at our garden filled with red and pink roses. He doesn't have to be on his knees, but just look at my eyes with all the love in his heart and say "What do you think about that Hon?". And I would answer, "but where's my ruby/diamond ring?". (-; Of course, it goes without saying, that would happen only if he's very rich or he's the CEO of Microsoft !

Well, this is exactly what I wanted him to do and he did---the first time we hung out, we went to a park. It was so romantic, because there was snow on the ground and we even saw a few deer. On our two year dating anniversary, we went out to dinner (like always) and then we went to the park. (now this next part is kinda funny/stupid, but I think it is cute)...Then, he got out of the car and sort of locked me in. I mean he has power locks and so he just locked it before I opened mine. And yes, I do know how to unluck it, but he was just trying to by time. Meanwhile, I had no idea what he was doing. Anyways, so then he came and opened my door (which is unusual for when I am getting out of the car, but he always does it when I am getting in). Then, I started to walk towards the swings. He told me to wait a second. I turned around and he was down on one knee with his knee actually touching the snow and then he said "Jessica, will you marry me and be my wife?" ...of course I said YES!! Then, I started crying (tears of joy) and hugged him before he could even get up out of the snow! LOL. Your fiance's proposal was very romantic, too!!!

Hi Teresa,
This is what I did, and it worked!!!
I picked up my girlfriend from her job and drove to the house
we were living in. I asked her to go ahead into the house and
start changing clothes (we planned to go out for dinner), and
I'll be in shortly. Just inside the front door, I posted a note that
had the date we met and the words "I love ya". Attached to the note was a bright yellow string which led to another note.
Seven notes with strings connecting all of them together. As
she went from one note to the next, she found the bouquet of
flowers I set on the kitchen table, with another note telling her
to go out the sliding glass door into our back yard. When she
stepped out onto the deck, I was already down on one knee.
I presented the ring and asked, "Will you make me the happiest man in the world?" She said yes!!

That is about the most romantic thing I have ever heard. I don't think anyone can top that one. You are very lucky. Best wishes on your wedding.

..that is about a 4 on my list...

My first one was in the natural history museum in the GEMS vault next to the emeralds because my ring was all emeralds.

I thought it was perfect...very romantic and unique.
