Okay, basically for my creative photography class (i'm in high school) i need to create a professional photobook for my semester project. For my book i decided to do a theme about colors. The concept is that each photo will have an apparent dominant color and the action in the photograph will have something to do with the meaning of the color.

e.g. red means blood, war, love, passion. So i'll take a picture of a couple kissing with red roses n their hands.

My question is, do anyone have any ideas for me to do (title, photo ideas) because i need 40 photos for this book. Answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Take some pictures in the cold light just before dawn and call it blue twilight. (I have some Idaho sunset pictures in snow that are quite blue, and that's what I call the series.) You can even boost the blue to make it over the top.

Yellow, sunflowers, a slide on the playground, a yellow kitty playing with a yellow ribbon, lemons. You can cut a lemon into slices, put it in a clear glass with sparkling water or 7-Up, take closeups of the bubbles.

Orange: A goldfish in a bowl looking at an orange on the outside. You can call it, "Got citrus?"

Your red idea is great. Have the girl wear red lipstick, the photoshop the image to b&w except for the lips and flower.

Green, something natural. Lots of green stuff. You could do the lemon bubbles with a lime instead. Closeup of someone taking a bite from a green apple or pear. Still life of all red apples in a bowl except one green one. Make a still life of all green fruits and veggies, in a white, green, clear, or purple bowl, on a green tablecloth with a wine glass of green Koolaid. Alternately, you can take pictures of trash, gritty industrial sites, smokestacks etc, and call it un-green.

It sounds like a fun project. Good luck with it!

You can always use the seasons or holiday themes with a color scheme. It is easy to find and take pictures of the seasons and most everyone has pictures from around holiday times. As for a title I will leave it up to you.
