I recently dyed my hair 2 weeks ago with a permanent dye and I was wondering when should I retouch it? I know that it is no time soon, I just want an idea to know when would be a good time to dye my hair without damaging it...

Usually it's every 4 to 6 weeks. Depends on the color of your hair and the color of the dye. You might need to retouch blond sooner than dark.

Most clients who use permanent color choose to re-touch the roots between 4-6 weeks.

Be careful when you re-touch to color the roots only. Don't process for the full amount of time, as the heat from your body boosts the power of the color and decreases processing time. (cut 10-12 mins off the total processing time.)
Squish the rest of the color all over the hair for the last 10 mins. Add a little purified water to the existing color in the bowl to decrease its strength. You dont have to re-color all of your hair, only refresh the ends.
If you were in a salon setting, your stylist would mix a totally different solution for your ends as for your roots. The advice I'm providing will help you come as close to a professional color job as possible.

Usually after about 6 weeks but it depends how fast your hair grows. If you did it to cover Grey you may want to do it sooner but you would just do the roots then and maybe 5 minutes before you wash it out put it on all your hair just to brighten the rest of your hair up. I found this shampoo at Sally's Beauty Supply's that's GREAT for keeping your color from fading between dye jobs it's by Clairol it's called Shimmer lights.
You may want to try it. I LOVE it.

i'd go away it a minimum of two weeks until now colouring your hair lower back with everlasting dye. i won't be in a position to declare for beneficial what the colour result would be because it relies upon on distinctive aspects.
