ok well i went out with this guy for a while and my friend liked him wayy before me and i felt bad even though she said it was alright but it still didnt feel right dating my friends crush so i dumped him but i haven't gotten over him and its been like a year! i like other guys but no one will ever compare to him...my friend dated him for a while after me and him broke up then they broke up and they're just friends so are me and him too but i still love him.

If they broke up then try to get back with him. If it makes your friend mad then thats not too good of a friend because real friends want to see their friends happy. You need to do what you want not what your friend wants

First of all you should have never gone there if your friend had a crush on him. That would had simplified your life. In the situation that your in now It's complicated " she had your left overs and now what you're going to have hers" Think about It is It worth your friendship. She also should have never dated him toooooo so you're both wrong and two wrong do the make a right!!!!!!!

And he means more to you than your friend?
If he were still smitten with you, wouldn't he call? Has he? If you have any clue he is still interested, bring it up in conversation, but don't be like "I can't live without you!" Be like "I remember we had fun for a while. Too bad it ended." or something like that.
I'd still look elsewhere.
And, has he forgiven you for dumping him?

Have you told him you still love him? Did you break up with him because of your friend? I think you need to tell him how you feel and ask him if he feels the same way. If you don't tell him, you will never know how he felted and you will never get over him. sooo tell him

First did u tell him why you two broke up if not you need to tell him why u two broke up.Then u need two get both of them together and tell them both the way you feel.Then you need to tell him that u shall like him and if u want to that you want to get back together.Like my grandmother always told me follow your heart.
