A Printer's proof is one of a small number of first prints made - usually 10 or less, so it's worth more than one of the limited edition prints.

But it's not worth nearly as much as the original - probably less than 1/4 of the original painting's worth, depending on the artist.

Of course, some prints by famous artists have a market value far higher than some other (relatively unknown) artists' original paintings.

A printers proof is one of the first copies of a print. It is not a painting and can't be compared. Some paintings are worth a lot and some are worth nothing.
