Actually not so funny...for the first time in 9 months, this morning she threw up..yellow...was told it was bile...and not to worry, she did not eat last night so she ate today twice now and all was fine. However, we made little mini carrot cakes today, and my silly sister ate one and left the paper on her lap. Puppy jumped up, and of course ate it!! Obviously she chewed it, and then swallowed. Must have been much small after chewing it... Is there any danger with this? The paper was tiny.. was the mini cupcake size. Should I take her to the vet? She seems fine, playing and all.

No chocolate...carrot cake..and was paper.

She did not eat the cupcake. Just the paper it was in..there was only a tiny bit of carrot cake surrounding it.

It doesn't seem like anything could be wrong or that she'll get sick from eating it. Wait at least 24hours and see what happens.
If she falls ill, consult you're vet. I very much doubt it though.

No, she should be fine. Especially if the paper was tiny and not aluminium. It'll come out when she goes potty.
My dog ate like 17 pounds of paper in her lifetime, and she's fine. Better than anyone in our house, come to think of it.

If you see her acting different,or doing some strange things,I would consider you taking her to the vet. I would have to say though,if the cup cake was chocolate.......I would take her to the vet pretty soon.Good luck!!

Dont take her to the vet...just be more careful with stuff. dont be worried. my puppy does it all the time and nothing has happened to her.

if it has alot of sugar or any chocolate in it then you should be concerned 'cause she could get sick. but other than that she should be fine.
