The honest answer is, on the whole, yes, IF, and i do repeat IF you in the dating circuit. However, If you have found someone you really love, and whom really loves you, a few marks will not make a ounce of difference. Of course, it is nice to keep somewhat fit and healthy for your partner, but in cases where for example, you have had children, your partner should be old enough to know a womans body does not stay in perfect shape throughout that process, or after it for most of us. While surgery is definitely a option to have those marks removed, or grafted over, this process is painful, expensive, and time consuming.
As a woman who has had children, and has a c-section scar, I can vouch that most men who are truly serious about a long term relationship will not care that you no longer have the belly (or other places stretch marks occur) of a supermodel.

Of course they matter to men but how much they matter is something you must consider in establishing a long term relationship with the man. It's natural for all women but aesthetically speaking it's a mark and people come close to you will most certainly notice it unless you manage to hide it permanently.

ohhh yes...if a girl pulls down the jeans, or i am getting up behind there and i see tons of very noticable lines...its a turn off...if i see one at the beach like that, the eyes never go back to it...even if a girl is attractive, those lines are gross!
