Sun tea. You can use regular black or orange pekoe or make it more fun by using a flavour herbal brand like berry or mandarin orange.

Put about 12 cups of water in a jug with a twist on lid, then add 6-8 tea bags and set out in the sun to steep. This can take an hour or so, just check the colour or have a taste.

Once you have the strength that you like, remove the tea bags.

Now you can drink it as is or add a can of frozen lemonade or a bit of sugar, use your imagination. You can even use frozen berries or grapes as ice cubes. Garnish with citrus slices.

I made a sun tea once with peppermint tea bags. It was very refreshing.

Getting hooked on caffeinee is not recommended at any age, much less at Eleven. If you must drink lots of tea, leave it til you are old and feeble, and badly needing a stimulant. If you burn out on caffein too early in life, you will need harder and harder drugs later in life to keep you kicking.

At my age even, Fresh, Whole Milk with a spoonful of honey makes a great thirst quencher and pick me up. Just put the honey in the glass first, then add a quarter spoonful of milk. FOLD the milk into the stiff honey until smooth (with a table knife), then add (maybe another teaspoonful of milk and repeat the mixing?) the full glass of milk.

A healthy body metabolises whole milk easily. Don't let all these sickos tell you that milk is no good. They are just too depleted in the liver to metabolise it! Use only honey too, never manufactured sugars or syrups. The honey is the correct balance between fructose and glucose, and no other syrup can or will ever be as good.

It works for me.

I see WATER recommended too. I have to agree, but who is that strong minded? Not many of us!

Blend watermelon with milk. Yum.

Go to a grocery store that sells Japanese food and pick up some "roasted barley tea", also called "mugicha". It's kind of an adult flavour though. Not sweet. Just a refreshing cold tea for summer.

I second coconut water. That stuff is awesome in summer.

You can make lemonade , that is good . And to be different ,take Kool_aid and put them in ice trays and freeze them , and get them out later just to help you with your thirst .(not drinking of course ) , think of it as a lollipop .
Or you can take a glass of Root Beer Soda , take 2 scopes of vanilla ice cream and put in the glass and stir it , makes a nice cool drink

I love ice tea too. You could make lemonade or koolaid or Root Beer floats or this really cool punch where you mix equal parts of 7-Up and Hawaiian Punch and then float scoops of sherbet or vanilla ice cream in it. Yummy!!!

If you can get your hands on some fresh mint, try adding it to lemonade. Make sure to break up the mint leaves before mixing them with the lemonade so you get a lot of flavor out of them. I think you'll find it to be a refreshingly cool drink, with a fresh aftertaste.
