Try lifting some weights. The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism will be. Don't worry about getting all big and bulky like a man, women don't have enough testosterone for that to happen.

Fast metabolism isn't all it's cracked up to be. Metabolism affects much more than just weight. Pretty much everything in the body works faster and it can produce some unpleasant symptoms. Sure you stay thin, but people with high metabolism can also suffer from things like anxiety and insomnia. Your heart rate and blood pressure can reach very high, sometimes dangerous levels. But there are lucky people who just seem to have their weight affected by fast metabolism. I have very high metabolism and have all the things mentioned though, so it sucks.

There is more to it. Being able to eat anything/everything you want is NOT a good thing. There are consequences. I know, teens never think that it will happen to them or that they are so young they don't have to worry about eating things that are bad for you. One of my sisters had a very fast metabolism. She could eat anything and she did. She died 3 years ago at 49 from heart disease.

You were born with a fast metabolism. But like everyone else, it slows down with age.
Change your thinking. Develop good eating and exercise habits, and every 6 weeks reward yourself with whatever you want to eat.

Hey, the grass is always greener. I have a super fast metabolism and constantly got made fun of the whole time I was growing up. I always felt so ugly and HATED being so gangly.

yes you can. Watch what you eat for 6 days and indulge on the 7th. Those lucky ones who can eat as they please should really be thankful, for the rest of us, exercise and watching our food intake. Life's not fair, i know!
