All have sinned. There is no one holy, not one righteous save the Son of God from the womb. So, if that be the case a question is asked; is sin programmed into our DNA? Salvation is the spiritual antidote for a physical ailment. Since all have this "sin" programming and nothing of the flesh can overcome it, wouldn't it be safe to say that only a spiritual solution to sin can save us from yielding to the physical death caused by this sin programming...
I'm not singling out any one particular sin; I am including all the works of the flesh. Does anyone have a rebuttal?
I know I’ll get the moronic fleshly response from atheists and those who can’t reason for themselves, I’m looking for good dialogue here and I will report anyone who can’t carry on a competent rebuttal or addition.

No, of course not. God creates only perfection. To suggest God creates an inborne evil is to insult the true nature of God.

I would have to say that sin isn't programmed into our DNA. For instance, if it was, then how was Jesus able to not sin? I would say sin is more on the lines of a virus. Ever notice how one sin can lead to another and another and spread to those within close contact of it like a virus can? A virus is harmful to us and we can catch it yet it isn't part of our DNA. The problem with sin is our freewill. We have the freedom to choose. Jesus has shown us all that a human can live a sinless life. Unfortunately for the rest of us, we fall so easy to temptation. I believe that as a human, I am in a body of flesh, surrounded by possessions, and subjected to the senses of the flesh there by setting me in a materialistic world. So the point that salvation is the spiritual antidote is right on. Just that sin plays on the fleshly desires which we all have a choice to fall pray to or not. The more spiritual we are, the less chance we have falling for the old sin trick that has been there from the beginning of time.

We are all born into sin since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. I look at it as inheriting the tendency to choose bad over good because bad appeals to the flesh and I had never thought of the DNA idea. I think the difference is that when you have DNA you have it forever and although I'm pretty ignorant about science, I don't think you can change your DNA. The Bible says that "if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW CREATURE, old things are passed away behold all things are become new". The Holy Spirit comes to reside in the heart of the believer and "greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." We are changed when we become Christians and although not perfect, we have our "helper and guide" to help us stay on the straight and narrow. That becoming "new" is what the "new birth" is all about. Jesus said that we "must be born again", a spiritual birth, not physical and we have a new nature that wants to please God instead of ourselves.

I believe it is. Reason being, in test studies in babies they have found that the babie prefers better looking people over others and to me this is vanity at an age where the baby does not even knoe what is happening. I dont remember exactly what the study was but I have taken many psych courses on my way to get my bachelors and all most every class we see some sort of this study. Vanity is a deadly sin. And this means from birth even when we are thought to be innocent we are not. I dont believe there is any way of releiving sin from the mind. Even the highest of priests as we have seen are guilty of alot. I dont even know if there is a spiritual solution as you have put it.

Yes, sin is in every cell of your body and mine. It's called the
old sin nature. We got it from our human fathers. Why? Because in the Adam and Eve account, he sinned willinglyand disobeyed God. Eve was deceived by the serpent . So Adam is responsible for bringing sin into our world. ButJesus Christ was sinless because Marys egg was fertilized by the Holy Spirit.Luke 1:35. This is why Christ was sinless and our
perfect sacrifice and He is called the 2nd Adam because He
came to become sin for us and the Father judged all of mankinds sin in Christ for us. That's why it's called GRACE
We don't do anything but believe in the Son. But how to
overcome the sin nature? It is to walk in the Spirit. How? Well,
you must take in God's word daily from a Pastor-Teacher
that really studies. Rom 12:1-2. Renewing of the mind.
Also, rebound ( some call it repent) my PT uses the word
rebound. Read 1 John 1:9. Yes, sometimes you rebound
many times in one day. But then we can live in the Spirit.
I've read on this site about non-believers criticizing how
Christians act and aren't like the one we believe in. If a
Christians is untaught, he/she acts just like the non-Christian
we only become Christ-like as we take in the Word on a
daily basis. We eat at least 3 times a day, how about feeding
our spirit. So, this is my answer to you. This is a serious answer, not just something I threw out there.

That's an extremely interesting concept.I believe that, although we always have ultimate control over our deeds, after the Fall sin did become,to a certain extent, programmed into our DNA.Now that's no excuse to sin,and it's not like we can't help sinning, but after all the Bible does say that even babies are born depraved.
What could it [the Bible] be reffering to if not that sin is built into us all?I'd say your observation is spot on.Human nature has been corrupted since the Fall, and we are no longer the perfect people God made us to be.Our physical fallen state(i.e.DNA programming)is symbolic of our inner(spiritual) state. That is why we need Jesus.

Humans are born into sin as a result of the curse put on us by human ancestors (Genesis 3:14-21).

So, if we are born into sin, do we have it in our DNA? I don't think it matters. The big deal is that we are all going to die and go to hell if we don't do something (Galations 5:19-21). The answer is spiritual, according to the Bible.

1. Turn, or, repent, from sin. (Isaiah 30:15-16)
2. Believe that Jesus sacrificed himself so you can be forgiven. (John 3:16)
3. Love the Lord with all of your heart, all of your soul, and all of your strength (Matthew 22:37).

The answer is not a mystery reserved for the smartest, most hard working citizens. Anyone can do this.

This answer is basic perhaps to you, but is the easiest way for me to explain, here goes. When your born, your innocent from sin, but as you grow to become an adult, you encounter challenges along the way which tempt you, and thus you commit sins. This is why it says "let him who has not sinned cast the first stone, for all have sinned". Anyway that's the short and the long of it.

"The wages of sin are death" is not to be taken to refer to physical death, but rather spiritual death. Even then, it is not a death of the spirit, since the unmanifest is not subject to birth and death.

Further, "sin" simply means 'to miss the mark', and doesn't imply a judgment of misbehavior. To miss the mark is simply to fail to recognize your own divine nature.

What we're trying to do here is reverse 2000 years of misinterpretation arising from man's fear. The universe is infinitely more loving than mankind would have it, even in it's most lucid moments.

Yes, all people inherited sin from Adam and Eve, specifically Adam. Romans 5:12 speaks to this, “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:19a declares further, “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners…” Adam and Eve were made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). As a result, all human beings are also in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 9:6). However, we are also in the image and likeness of Adam (Genesis 5:3). When Adam fell into sin, that resulted in every one of his descendants also being “infected” with sin (Psalm 51:5).

No... it's only a concept invented by men. If sin is a part of the body, i.e., in DNA, then how can the soul correct that? Isn't the soul eternal? If the soul leaves the body, how can it correct something in the DNA of that body?

Sin is also decided by society. What is a sin in one culture is not in another culture, so how can that be ingrained in DNA if it isn't consistent?

Also, the bible says that sin isn't inherent:

'The fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their fathers; but a person shall die for his own sin.'"

There are many levels where your hypothesis does not work.
