It took me a year too, and I WAS getting the run around!
Call the photographer every day and if necessary, threaten to call the local Better Business Bureau. I even mentoined calling the local news station. They have a call to action segment where they help local watchers get justice.
Bad publicity for a small business owner- that is something they want to avoid!
I did receive the album, eventually and it was beautiful! But it was only due to persistence.

You are definetly getting the run around. I am so sorry that you may be getting screwed over! I am having an older couple that are photographers cover my wedding. They tried to give me advice on picking a photographer in case I didn't go with them, because they are just nice and look out for people. They said it can take up to three weeks, possibly a little longer if it is peak season. They said that if a photographer tries to tell you that it takes longer than that, then to run the other way. My guess is, even with a bunch of special effects, they should have been done withing 2 months max. I mean, a year! Come on...

You should have it by now. Mine took about 7 months, and that's only because I procrastinated picking the pictures. Call the photographer EVERY DAY!!
