I always used to eat, well, sort of healthy, and I was kind of active, but then two days ago, my boyfriend called me fat, and I haven't eaten anything in three days.
Anyways, I ust want to know if I am fat, like my boyfriend said, am I?:

I lost 7 pounds, from 3 days ago, I used to weigh 100 pounds, at 5"3, now I weigh 93 pounds, at 5"3.
Oh, and I am 16, if that helps.

If you are fat, I would hate to believe what skinny is. I think it would be a nonexistent human being. Anyway, I have two pieces of advice:

Start eating and kick that boyfriend to the curb.

My gut reaction was to tell you to ditch the boyfriend - there's a lot of dead weight right there that you can get rid of!

But if you've got a good thing going with him, except for this one thing, maybe there's other alternatives. For one, he needs to know that what he says really matters to you. Can you tell him straight up that what he said hurt your feelings and has caused you to be really worried? (If you can't, then maybe it *is* time to move on...)

You are *not* fat. In fact, I honestly thought you and your friends could all stand to *gain* weight. I'm not saying that as a jealous, catty person - you honestly look too thin to me. And if you're still losing weight, you *are* medically too thin.

Please talk to people you trust. Your parents if you can, a cool teacher or guidance counselor would even work. You don't have to go into minute detail, just tell them that you're concerned about your weight and would like help dealing with what you're feeling right now.

From what you wrote above, you're on the road to an eating disorder. I used to think it sounded really cool and somewhat dramatic to starve yourself, because I thought it took a lot of self control and all that b.s. Then I *developed* an eating disorder. It is NOT cool, it's nothing to admire, it's nothing to work towards. It's not about self control, it's about self-hatred. Don't do that to yourself. The long term effects, aside from death (and yes, an eating disorder could wind up killing you) could do enough damage to make you miserable for the rest of your life anyway.

Please talk to someone NOW about this. 'Kay? :)

Yeah, I wish I was that fat---EVER!!!! Your boyfriend is a jerk, even if you were fat, which you certainly are not in any sense of the word. You need to get somebody who thinks like a normal guy, which I would imagine would be that you are totally hot!! Your boyfriend has a problem!

Look, I AM fat and have been most of my life. Yet, my husband has NEVER EVER said that too me, even when I'm obsessing about it. It really sounds like he is trying to hurt you and control you because he is afraid that you are so amazing that you might just drop him to find someone who deserves you. I think you really need to find someone who does.

WHAT?!?! Listen, sweetie, you by no means look or seem fat. Does his opinion really matter that much to you? Couldn't it have been that he was just saying silly things?
You are the one who must feel good about yourself, and as far as it looks you are beautiful, fit and look healthy. Why would you compromise all that over something he said? You are exactly in the lower recommended weight for a teenager with your height and age, so please, don't compromise your health over a simple comment.

Oh shut up. You're not fat and you know it darn well. Otherwise you wouldn't be posting a photo of yourself in a freaking bikini.

Go fish for compliments somewhere else.

No way. I'm the same size as you and a lot of people call me little. You are not een close to being fat. Your boyfriend needs to quit calling you names.
