Listen carefully, because this is always true.
If he's your best friend he either has a massive crush on you, or he is gay. No exceptions.
Guys don't hang out with girls one on one as friends if they don't have some kind of crush on them. We find it to be extremely uncomfortable because we are constantly afraid other people will think we are with you. Guys, espeically young guys do NOT WANT OTHER PEOPLE to think they are with girls they are not attracted to, so they subconsciously avoid being alone with them at all costs.
If we like you, then we WANT other girls to think that we're with you so we hang out with you. And yes, a guy can have multiple crushes at the same time, so don't snooze or you'll lose. My advice is to make your move now, quickly.

Well you should be honest. Tell him in private and seriously. Dont joke about it dont do anything that might not turn him on to you you know what I mean not like a sexual way but like into you as you're into him kind of way. Just be yourself and if he doesnt want to be friends with you after all this than he's not the type of guy you even want to be with. Good Luck I hope that you get him.

Then telling him might confuse him. I think you should see how things plan out. If nothing happens between them then you should take the oppertunity to tell him. Also be aware that if you split up, your friendship will probably never be the same again. Good Luck.

it sounds like waiting around might benefit you at this point, he has someone in mind right now and you are not it.....if you wait and just be his friend and when it ends with this other girl....you can be there to pick up the pieces......

relax you might want to ask your other friend if she likes him and if she doesnt than tell her that u like him and if it is ok to date him and then ask the guy out see what he says
