not sure, but the signs are there to remind us to do this cleansing process after we have been to the toilet.

I'm not sure who thought of the signs in the first place, but nobody will ever forget to wash their hands, as the signs are big and clear, for us to read, least we forget the first basic hygiene rule.

I don't think it is absolutely legal requirement except some special facilities where absolute hygienic condition is required.
As for other public toilets, I would appreciate it if they install disposable handkerchiefs.
It is always rather awkward to be wet handed after washing my hands and find there is nothing to wipe my wet hands with.

I don't think so but i think its a good idea. I can't see why there should be posters to say this people should do it automaticaaly especially after usung the toilet. My son is 4 and that is the fisrt thing he does is wash his hands. If we are out in public and there is no soap in a toilet he goes mad.

I don't know, but I wash my hands, look up, see the sign again then have to wash my hands again. I'm stood there all day!

Yes, especially for food workers. Kinda sad that they would have to be told--and reminded--though.
